Throughout the years, Fun Fun Fun Fest became renowned for its musical lineup, as well as its collection of comedy, food, action sports, and poster art experiences. After a decade, it was recognized as one of the most relaxed, creative, and pioneering festivals in music today; Fun Fun Fun Fest was custom booked for the most passionate, underground, and progressive musicians, comedians and fans around the world. At GS, our job each year was to not mess it up.

Every year, GS works with FFF to develop the festival’s concept and then bring it to life through design and campaigns delivered across print, digital, native app, branded merchandise, branded events as well as documenting the entire festival experience via photo and video. We have an unrelenting focus on the festival audience and carefully curate each piece of communication to amplify the experience. That includes Bill Nye flashing the WuTang sign.
Friends with benefits: Our network of designers, artists, photographers, directors, screen printers, and various other hooligans give GS a seemingly infinite pool of talent to tap into for each festival.

Josh Row“Eventually, every punk rocker grows up: tastes mature, interests shift, priorities change. But they remain nostalgic for the now-defunct bands of their salad days. Then there are the young kids who want in on that legacy-music discovery. These are the two generationally divided, sonically linked kinds of music fans exploring the larger and interconnected independent music scene, guided by Transmission Events’ Fun Fun Fun Fest.”

GS has been with us for years, helping us not only build the brand, but organize it in a way where it can be consistent across everything from social media to apps and from in-print to on-site. Plus, they helped prove through science (and Bill Nye) that our fest is the most fun, so that’s cool too.
