May Our Paths Cross

Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, is a new restaurant in the historic brewhouse at Pearl. Like a chef experimenting in the kitchen, the Guerilla Suit team started from scratch on the Southerleigh brand. Working hand in hand with founder/chef Jeff Balfour, we brought his concept to life through naming, identity, web, social and on site materials. No detail too small. No touchpoint too extraneous. Our goal was to create not just a unique brand, but an experience you would feel.

We believe a brand is not a name or a logo. The customer experience for Southerleigh can be felt when you call, when you visit Pearl, on the plate and in the pint glass. We worked closely with the Southerleigh and Pearl teams to make sure all of these parts worked in harmony to create something simple, memorable and brilliant. Today, Southerleigh is a top Central Texas destination for craft beer aficionados and foodies alike.
“Chef Jeff Balfour’s new Southerleigh celebrates San Antonio and Texas Gulf Coast tastes and traditions. The fine-dining brewpub is named for the predominantly southerly winds on the Texas coast and is housed in the historic Pearl Brewery, marking the first time since 2001 that beer is produced on-site.”

I cannot say in words how tremendous an experience it has been working with Guerilla Suit on the creation of our brand. They were outstanding in every way. The attention to detail and dedication to designing something that both teams could be proud of was second to none.
